We collect your first and last name, email address, postal address, phone numbers, and other similar contact data.
- Funding of Research: new and continuation online application forms
- Personal details collected via the funding application form include your identity number, institution details, names and institutions of any co-workers.
- We also collect the name of your current institution, job title, research experience and degrees obtained.
- We collect your research field, title of proposed research project and financial details of funding required for your intended research.
- Post Graduate Scholarship: new and continuation application forms (downloadables)
- In addition to the general personal info we also collect your identity number, marital status and family details.
- We collect your current employment details including name of employer, institution, job title, working experience and contact details of references..
- Academic details collected include your qualifications, scholarships, awards, publications and previous research.
- Related to the bursary application, we collect the title of the proposed research, research field, institution and expected duration of studies.
- Subscription forms (online)
We collect the following additional information via MailChimp for our newsletter and technology transfer mailing groups: employment details, location and postal address.
All information that you provide to us must be correct, complete, and accurate. You must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Information that is automatically collected

The Oil & Protein Seeds Development Trust (OPDT) and the Oilseeds Advisory Committee (OAC) are responsible for the processing of personal information it receives, under the Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf.
Concerning personal information received or transferred according to the Privacy Shield Framework, the Oil & Protein Seeds Development Trust (OPDT) and the Oilseeds Advisory Committee (OAC) are subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. FTC.
